Matthew Jones is one of the leading violists, violinists and teachers of his generation. He is violist of The Bridge Duo, the Debussy Ensemble and the Instrumental Quintet of London and he was a member of the Badke String Quartet when they won the 2007 Melbourne International Chamber Music Competition. Apart from that, he is violinist in the Ensemble MidtVest, an innovative chamber ensemble based in Denmark, as well as Professor of Viola and head of Chamber Music at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Matthew is also a composer, mathematics graduate and teacher of the Alexander Technique and Kundalini Yoga.
