Gail Macleod

Coach

Gail Macleod is a musician, facilitator, and coach. She is a founder director at Soundcastle, a music social enterprise delivering community projects, facilitator training and coaching for creatives. On graduating from the Royal Academy of Music, London, Gail established an active performing and teaching career while gradually developing a strong community-focused ethos. She then co-founded Soundcastle after graduating with distinction from the Masters in Leadership course at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in 2011. Sandcastle advocates for the value that music can bring to everyone’s lives, not only to take part in it but to create and feel ownership over it. Through establishing long-term community projects for families and adults with mental health challenges, Soundcastle developed a Theory of Practice which frames all their delivery and has led to a key strand of arts facilitator training.
