These 'musician-friendly' yoga sessions are designed for you to start the day feeling energised and refreshed and are suitable for everyone, including beginners.

Getting on the mat is a way of turning inwards and addressing all our outward experiences in a calm manner. By bringing awareness to our breath, we support our body's natural wisdom to help increase focus. In this yoga session, find equilibrium, build strength and decrease stress.
Sunday 4 July - Love Your Psoas
Identify, release, revive. Discovering the importance of the psoas muscle.The name psoas comes from the Greek word psoa, meaning "loin-region".It forms a big, muscle that passes through the pelvis, behind the vital organs, connects the back to the front , upper body to lower body, through fascia connections and the diaphragm. This sequence will explore how to identify our psoas, and what sort of release to provide it, encourage lengthening, and release tension. Sunday 11 July

Improving balance and coordination, mastering transitions and building power. *musicians special. - could be just as well applied to music and dance. Learning which body parts support certain postures for building balance and how to activate them.

Following your breath, morning sequence. Dance between vitality and stillness, encouraging our listening to the breath and body at ones own pace with a flexible sequence.
