Session 1

How do we know our pupils are actually learning?

Paul will look at how we learn; how to teach effectively so that our pupils do actually learn and how we begin to know what we know and that we know.

Session 2

Thrills, spills, mindsets and brains - getting into the minds of a teacher

In this session, Paul will explore what causes us to think and teach the way we do; what we actually mean by "musical", and how to help our pupils become more so. We will delve into some psychology and think about ways of ensuring that we are always getting the best out of ourselves and our pupils.
