Being a musician has always been a challenging career but right now it's at a whole new level.
Here at The Exhale we believe, now more than ever, it is relevant to provide a confidential space for musicians who want to listen, support and maybe even challenge one another within a structured framework. Our resident psychotherapist Emma Black, who has experience in running groups specifically for musicians, will be hosting a series of group meetings for this purpose.
The framework of the group will include an element of learning and discussion, and will also be a safe space for people to bring their ideas and creativity as well as connecting with other musicians.
For an initial 4 weeks the group will take place at 7pm GMT every Wednesday evening and last 90 minutes with a 10 minute break halfway. What is important is a degree of committment to make the experience more rewarding. We have 5 places available. Please register your interest by emailing zen@the-exhale.com. Once we have the required number of participants we can run the group.
The cost for each session is €20, but we do not want anyone to be excluded due to financial constraints. Contact zen@the-exhale if you are struggling financially but would like to take part. This will be confidential. Please feel free to contact us on the same email address if you would like any further information.
