Towards a more Sustainable Classical Music Sector

Joanne Green

Classical music sustainability

Join Joanne Green and special guest Scott Morrison from the Sage Gateshead as they chat about musicians working towards a sustainable classical music sector. Scott (when working with the Scottish Ensemble) was hugely instrumental in developing and contributing to 'The Scottish Classical Music Green Guide', a free guide written collaboratively by over 30 orchestras, ensembles, festivals and individual musicians from across Scotland, containing knowledge on how to reduce carbon emissions in all aspects of the classical music industry.

Come and discover the reasoning behind having an ‘environmental commitment', what this might involve and how organisations and individuals might start to think about instigating it themselves.
