Yoga For Musicians
Each of these sessions will look at different elements of the practice to create awareness within our breath and body to incorporate and integrate new healthy habits and structure into our lifestyle.
Saturday 2nd January: Pranayama Practice
This session covers simple yet effective techniques to improve physical and mental health through breath work practice, regulate the nervous system, decrease stress and anxiety, detoxify the mind and body, increase focus, and boost the immune system.
Sunday 3rd January: Yoga Poses - Reconstructing, Restorative
This session explores releasing tension in parts of our body that gather the most stress, working on specific and essential poses, as well as restorative longer-held poses to make space in the body and find alignment in preparation for moving through sequences.
Ideal for finding calm and clarity, for easing exhaustion and stress, and for anyone wanting to bring more awareness to how we relate and connect to our breath and body within a posture.
Monday 4th January: Yoga poses - Fundamental sequences.
In this session we will warm up to awaken the body and breath, followed by a couple of fundamental sequences to incorporate into every day and evening.
